Hypertension and Natural Weapons
Categories:
Practically every prescription medication for hypertension (high blood
pressure) has mild to significant side effects. These side effects
include dizziness, low energy, sexual dysfunction, coughing and
urination. Hypertension is rarely a one issue problem. High blood
pressure is usually multi-faceted with high emotions, stress, lifestyle,
and eating habits being a portion of contributing factors. So... many
hypertension patients are precsribed more than one medication, so now we
have to deal with a minimum of 3 side effects (if patient is put on two
medications). There would be the side effects of each medication, and
the side effects of these blood pressure medications interacting with
one another.
There are many natural, harmless, and inexpensive routes to improving blood pressure. In fact, we recently had a client that had a blood pressure pushing 160/94 on 3 seperate readings over a month and they did not want to see their physician about medication. After doing some research and looking at the clients personally history, we pointed out research that demonstrated calcium is closely linked to hypertension. Within 3 weeks, with client taking calcium, their blood pressure steadily came down to within normal ranges and has stayed there.
Did you know that by the age of 55, 90% of Americans have high blood pressure. Normal blood pressure should be less than 120/80, according to the Joint National Committee on Blood Pressure and Hypertension.
